Pittsburgh Vape Shops Raided, Police Make Significant Seizures

According to police, these Pittsburgh shops were selling much more than vaping products.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department's narcotics unit conducted raids at two Ross vape shops on Friday and confiscated large amounts of drugs and money.

In conjunction with Ross police, county police executed search warrants at Smoke World and Vape in the 4800 block of McKnight Road and Powerful Smoke in the 7300 block of McKnight Road.

Detectives seized more than 2 kilograms of marijuana, thousands of illegal THC and psilocybin-infused products and more than $9,000 in cash across both stores.

County police have yet to announce any arrests as a result of the raid, but said they currently are working with the district attorney’s office, and the investigation is ongoing.
