The National Weather Service says an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, with the combination of heat and humidity resulting in heat indices up to 105.
There's also a risk for severe thunderstorms producing damaging wind gusts Wednesday afternoon and evening. Locally heavy rainfall is also possible Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, which could lead to localized flash flooding.

Temperatures are expected to dip a bit Thursday, but not by much. The high is expected to be 88.
After that, the expected highs are as follows: 89 on Friday, 87 on Saturday and 89 on Sunday.
