Police Probing 'Security Issue' On Spirit Pittsburgh Airport Plane

A Spirit Airlines flight was about to take off at Pittsburgh International Airport Thursday when a security issue occurred.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Allegheny County police are investigating what has been labeled a "security issue" on a Spirit Airlines flight at Pittsburgh International Airport.

The flight to Tampa on Thursday morning was preparing to take off when the issue was reported.

It is unclear if passengers were forced to deplane or if the flight has taken off.
