Police Probing Threat Against Pittsburgh-Area School District

Police are investigating a social media threat made against a suburban Pittsburgh school district. Get the details here.

MONONGAHELA, PA — Police are investigating after a social media threat was made against some students in the Ringgold School District in Washington County.

In a letter to parents, the district stated that it learned of a threat against Ringgold Middle School students through the Safe2Say system.

The school has about 800 students in grades 5-8. Classes have yet to begin for the 2024-25 year.
