WESTMORELAND COUNTY, PA — It's been a bittersweet last month for Rob Peterson, the owner of Rob's Pizza in the Village of Murrysville shopping center.

On July 18, he noted in a Facebook post that Rob's was marking its 40th anniversary. Since then, he has addressed persistent rumors that the pizzeria soon would be shutting down.

"Lease is up in October," he posted on Aug. 5. "I'm still searching for a rich widow, but so far no luck."
