Popular Pittsburgh Bar Hints At New Location
A heralded Pittsburgh tavern is dropping clues regarding a potential new location. Patch provides the details here.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A popular Strip District bar is hinting at a new location on the North Side.
Lefty's, a Strip staple since 2006, could be taking over the former Yinz Locos taco and tequila club on Western Avenue. It closed in May after about a year in business, offering this final cryptic social media post: "We’re not going out of business, we’re welcoming back an old favorite. When we’re allowed to talk about it more, we will post."
Apparently they now are allowed to talk about it.

On the Yinz Locos Facebook page, which has been dormant since the closure, an image of the Lefty's logo reading "Lefty's Northside" recently was posted. Click on the logo and a brief several-second long video spells out "Lefty's" in graffiti-style lettering.
Rick Krist, the owner of Lefty's who was co-owner of Yinz Locos, could not be reached for comment.

There is no indication that Lefty's Strip District location would close if and when the North Side one debuts.
