Popular Pittsburgh Eatery In Running For National Honor

Your vote could make the difference in whether a Pittsburgh dining spot gets a prestigious national accolade.

PITTSBURGH, PA — A well-known Pittsburgh eatery is a contender to be named a USA Today 10Best food hall.

Federal Galley on the North Shore is among 20 food halls across the country nominated by a panel for their respective menu options and positive contributions to their communities. Votes can occur once per day until polls close April 14 at noon.

The top 10 winning food halls will be announced on April 23.

"A combination food hall and restaurant accelerator, Federal Galley gives chefs in Pittsburgh a place to try out new restaurant concepts while the rest of us get to taste the results," USA Today stated about the dining spot. "At any given time, there are four different options on rotation. There's also a full bar serving local and national beers and refreshing cocktails."

According to the Federal Galley website,the current restaurants there are Sokah Caribbean BBQ; Driven, a Detroit-style pizzeria; Mijo, a New Mexican and Mexican inspired eatery and Given to Fly, a chicken-based place to satisfy your appetite.
