Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant Abruptly Closes
Without warning, this popular Pittsburgh eatery suddenly shut down.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Joe's Crab Shack, a popular Station Square dining spot that provided diners with views of the Monongahela River, suddenly closed over the weekend.
A sign on the door announced the restaurant's shutdown.
"We are grateful for the support of our community and encourage our guests to visit us at another (Landry's) location," the message stated.

Landry's operates a number of restaurants in Pittsburgh, including the Grand Concourse, Gandy Dancer, Del Frisco's, Houlihan's, McCormick & Schmick and Mortons.
The Station Square location was the only Joe's Crab Shack in Pittsburgh. Its closure occurs three months after another longtime Station Square restaurant, Buca di Beppo, shut its doors.

Remaining eateries at the complex include the Grand Concourse, Gandy Dancer, Hard Rock Cafe, Kiku, Texas De Brazil, the Meltin Pot, Tupelo Honey and Homerun Harry's.
