Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant Closing Its Doors
A Pittsburgh restaurant that has captivated diners for more than a decade is going out of business.
PITTSBURGH, PA — The owners of Park Bruges restaurant on Bryant Street in Highland Park announced Monday it will be closing in a few months after a 15-year-run. The space, however, will not be vacant for long.
Word of the eatery's shuttering came on the restaurant's Facebook page.
"Now is an opportune time to pass this great neighborhood location to a new restaurant business," the post stated.

"While a hard decision for us, it was made easier by having a good friend and fellow restaurateur ready to step up and step in. Angela Early, owner of the Penn Avenue Fish Company, will be taking over the space."
Early is expected to introduce a new restaurant concept in the space in the coming months. It is unclear if it will be another seafood eatery.

"We can't thank out loyal guests and residents of Highland Park enough for your patronage and kindness that we have experienced during our successful run," they stated. "We hope to see you during our last few months of business."
