Popular Pittsburgh Restaurant Reopens After Devastating Fire

A well-known Pittsburgh restaurant has reopened years after a fire destroyed it. Get the details here.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA —Following more than two years of rebuilding following a devastating fire, a popular Pittsburgh-area restaurant has reopened.

The newly renovated Chili's on McKnight Road reopened on Monday.

"Congratulations to Managing Partner Zack Wilms, General Manager Nathen Martin and their entire team on a successful return to the community," the Pittsburgh Regional North Chamber stated in a Facebook post.

In May of 2023, fire crews found heavy smoke coming from the roof area upon their arrival. When firefighters opened the roof, they found an intense fire in a void space between the roof and the interior dropped ceiling.

The restaurant was unoccupied at the time.
