PITTSBURGH, PA — The popular YaJagoff! team is switching stations.

Rachael Rennebeck and John Chamberlin announced Friday that they have moved to KDKA (1020 AM and 1o0.1 FM) effectively immediately. Previously, the duo had been on Q-92 for more than two years.

Before they were on the air anywhere, Rennebeck and Chamberlin were - and still are - the creative juggernaut behind YaJagoff! a popular Pittsburgh multimedia brand that includes podcasts, a blog, a YouTube channel, souvenir merchandise and even a YaJagoff! beer.

Explaining the station switch to Patch on Friday, Rennebeck said, “The message we deliver really is about Pittsburgh and its people. The question was how do we continue to grow that message, how do we get it to even more listeners and viewers?”

KDKA “is legendary,” Chamberlin added. “Not that we’re legends at all.”

The pair will debut with two consecutive 6 p.m.-10 p.m. shifts on Friday. Expect to hear their show and podcast every Friday as a true late-night show following high school football broadcasts, which begin Aug. 23.

The pair stated on their daily YaJagoff! blog: "It is an honor and a true Pittsburgh milestone to be aligned with KDKA. We hope you listen, we hope you weigh in, and we know we will make mistakes. But we are beyond excited to join the KDKA team."
