Ross 2023 Budget: What You're Getting For Your Tax Dollars
Here are some highlights of the township's spending plan for the coming year.

ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — The township's $41.9 million 2023 budget holds the line on property taxes and sewage rates while paying for a number of improvements and upgrades.
Here's what you can expect in the coming year:
- The township has committed $475,000 to improvements at Quail Park and Bruno Sammartino Park. They will include pavilion enclosures, court resurfacing and creating an athletic field master plan.
- Two Nelson Run Road bridges will be replaced.
- The township will spend $1.9 million on its annual roads program.
- The police department will replace defibrillators in all vehicles. Radar speed timing devices also will be installed if permitted by state law.
"I believe that this budget sensibly appropriates the Funds to which the township has available, while not raising tax rates," finance director Dan Berty said. "Staff will continue to review potential cost savings, while maintaining internal controls to ensure expenditures are within township guidelines."
