Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Pittsburgh, Western PA
The likelihood of severe storms and possible tornadoes for the Pittsburgh area today has increased.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania until 10 p.m. this evening.
The weather service says there is the potential for storms with winds as high as 70 mph and ping pong sized hail. A few tornadoes also are possible.
At 3:30 p.m., the weather service reported a severe storm in Zainesville, Ohio, that had wind gusts to 80 mph.
