Sheetz Stores Nationally Lauded

ALTOONA, PA — Sheetz has been recognized by People magazine's "Companies that Care" list by Great Place To Work and PEOPLE Magazine.

The annual list, now in its ninth year, highlights the top companies in the U.S. that have succeeded in business while also demonstrating outstanding respect, care and concern for their employees and a commitment to their communities.

Sheetz ranks 10th on this year's list, maintaining its top 10 status after ranking 9th last year.

This marks the fourth consecutive year, and fifth time in six years, that Sheetz has been ranked on this national list.

“We do not take this recognition lightly as supporting our communities and employees is central to everything we do,” said Sheetze CEO Travis Sheetz.

Ninety percent of employees surveyed at Sheetz said it is a great place to work compared to 57 percent of employees at a typical U.S.-based company. Additionally, 92 percent of Sheetz employees feel good about the ways the company contributes to the community.
