Steelers Announce Big Acrisure Stadium Additions For 2024 Season

The Steelers have added a host of new attractions to Acrisure Stadium for the coming football season.

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers didn't just make a trio of additions to their quarterbacks room during the off-season. They also made a host of additions to Acrisure Stadium that the team believes will provide an elevated experience for fans.

The Steelers on Wednesday announced what that enhanced experience will entail beginning with the home opener on Sept. 22 against the Los Angeles Chargers.

“Steelers fans are the best fans in sports, and we believe they deserve a gameday experience to match,” said Steelers vice president of sales and marketing Ryan Huzjak said. “We listened to feedback from season ticket holders and gameday attendees last season and implemented a series of gameday enhancements based on that input."

Here's some of what fans can expect:

  • The Steel Yard, an area located outside of Gate A that the team says provides the feeling of beingin your own backyard with all of the game day excitement. Admission is free for the tailgating spot.
  • A new-look Terrible Towel Wall in the FedEx Great Hall that provides the history of the towel and photo opportunities with the 400-square-foot Terrible Towel.
  • The Miller Lite Renegade Pub in the West Main Concourse that includes a Pittsburgh mural, large TV screens and a full-service bar.
