Teen Shot Man To Death, Dumped Body In Street: Police

A teen has been charged with shooting and killing a man and leaving his body on a heavily traveled Pittsburgh-area street.

McKEESPORT, PA — A 17-year-old teen was arrested Tuesday for allegedly shooting and killing a man and dumping his body onto a street.

Daemond Artemus of McKeesport is accused of shooting and killing Dylan Saula, 22, of North Versailles. He has been charged with criminal homicide and firearms violations and is being housed in the Allegheny County Jail.

County police said authorities were notified of a man down in the 500 block of Lysle Boulevard. First responders found Saula lying in the street and pronounced him dead.

According to court documents, a surveillance video showed a body being dumped from a red vehicle that then fled the scene.

A witness in the vehicle told police that Artemus sought to buy drugs from Saula. The witness heard a gunshot when Saula got in the car, police said.
