Teen Shot In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

Gunfire erupted in a Pittsburgh neighborhood Monday night, with a bullet hitting a teenage boy.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Police are investigating the shooting of a teen in the city's Terrace Village neighborhood Monday night.

Just after 11:15 p.m., police responded to the 2000 block of Rose Street following a 7-round ShotSpotter alert. Upon arriving, they found a 14-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his ankle.

The teen was taken to a nearby hospital and listed in stable condition. He told police he was walking up to his house when he was shot.
