Pittsburgh police are warning that certain vehicles are being targeted for airbag theft. Find out here if yours might be in jeopardy.

PITTSBURGH, PA —If you own a Honda Civic, be sure your vehicle door is locked. City police are investigating the thefts of 10 airbags from Bloomfield, Shadyside and Point Breeze overnight.

In most of the incidents, the driver’s side windows were broken by thieves intent on reaching the steering column to take driver's side airbag systems. Police are advising to purchase a steering wheel locking device - known as an anti-theft club - as a deterrent.

It is believed this rash of thefts is connected and police are asking anyone with information or possible video to contact Zone 4 at 412-422-6520 or Zone 5 at 412-665-3605.
