Trump Vows Return To Butler Assassination Attempt Area
Former President Donald Trump provided additional details during an interview with Elon Musk about his intent to return to Butler.

BUTLER, PA — Former President Donald Trump dropped new details Monday night about his plans to return to the place where he nearly died last month.
During an interview with Elon Musk on X, Trump vowed to return to Butler for a rally in October. He said he will finish his July 13 address that was cut short because of the assassination attempt at the Butler Farm Show grounds.
Trump did not provide a specific date for the rally or divulge its location.

Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, suffered a wounded ear in the incident in which three spectators were shot, one fatally.
Former fire chief Corey Comperatore, 50, of Sarver, Butler County, died while shielding his family from shots fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park. David Dutch, 57, of New Kensington and James Copenhaven, 74, of Moon were wounded. Crooks was killed by a U.S. Secret
Service agent during the attack.

Trump previously stated on his Truth social media site that he would pay homage to the shooting victims when he returns to Butler.
Trump held an event last week in Harrisburg, making his first appearance in Pennsylvania since the shooting. His campaign plans another event in the state on Saturday in Wilkes-Barre.
