TSA Agent Stole Money From Pittsburgh Airport Traveler: Police
Authorities say a Transportation Security Administration agent stole a passenger's money at Pittsburgh International Airport.
FINDLAY TOWNSHIP, PA — A Transportation Security Administration agent is accused of stealing money from a traveler being screened Wednesday afternoon at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Richard Bruce, 39, faces misdemeanor charges of theft unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
It's unclear how much money was involved.

Allegheny County police said Bruce was charged when security video was reviewed after the traveler alerted authorities to the missing money.
The TSA issued the following statement on the incident:

"The Transportation Security Administration is aware of the recent charges of one of our officers at Pittsburgh International Airport related to theft. TSA holds its employees to the highest standards of professionalism and integrity, and we do not tolerate behavior that violates these standards or the public’s trust. The individual has been placed on administrative leave pending further investigation. We are fully cooperating with law enforcement authorities in their investigation of this matter. As this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further details at this time.”
