Veteran Pittsburgh TV Newscaster Marks 30 Years At Station

PITTSBURGH, PA — Veteran Pittsburgh newscaster Andrew Stockey is celebrating his 30th anniversary with the station.
"This week will mark the completion of 30 years of living in Pittsburgh and working at WTAE-TV Pittsburgh," Stockey stated in a Facebook post.
"I thank all of you for your kindness and support in not only making this region a great place to grow my career, but also allowing me to find a place I can truly call home. Thank you."

Stockey told Patch that this is a major milestone at his career at WTAE. "This has been a wonderful place to grow," he said.
Stockey co-anchors WTAE's 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. newscasts and anchors sports at 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.

According to his page on the station website, Stockey graduated from Ohio University's Honors Tutorial College and made stops at Fox News and ESPN before arriving at WTAE in 1995. He serves as a Race For The Cure co-spokesperson with WTAE anchor Michelle Wright and is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Honor selection committee.
