“We tell the tales of steel barons, historic mansions, and local legends while our guests explore one of the city’s most charming neighborhoods,” Burgh Bits & Bites owner Sylvia McCoy said.

Regarding Oakland, McCoy said to expect a melting pot of flavors and history.

“Our tour takes you through Oakland’s iconic streets, where you'll enjoy a curated selection of tastings that reflect the area’s rich diversity,” McCoy said.

McCoy said the tours were created to share the region’s history and leverage food to foster a deeper connection to local communities.

“As tour guests visit small businesses on the tours, the goal is for them to stay connected to these neighborhoods and their small businesses beyond the tours," McCoy said.
