Woman Beaten To Death Under Pittsburgh-Area Bridge

CARNEGIE, PA — A man has been arrested in connection with a woman found beaten to death under a bridge in the 200 block of Mary Street early Sunday.

Allegheny County police have charged Joseph Beraducci, 29, of Pittsburgh, with criminal homicide.

A person called Allegheny County 911 asking for help under the bridge at around 6:20 a.m. on Sunday. First responders found the woman severely beaten. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said the unidentified woman and two men - one of them Beraducci - were living under the bridge. Earlier in the evening, police and medics were called to the scene after one of the men suffered a seizure. He was taken to an area hospital.

The woman, whose name has not yet been released, and Beraducci had no injuries when police and medics initially left the scene.
