Woman Killed By Vehicle In Pittsburgh Neighborhood

PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman was struck and killed by a vehicle in the city's Point Breeze neighborhood Wednesday morning.

First responders arrived at the intersection of South Dallas Avenue and Reynolds Street at around 9 a.m. and found the woman unconscious and not breathing. Medics performed CPR but she was pronounced dead a short time later at a nearby hospital.

The name of the victim was not immediately available.

Pittsburgh Public Safety officials said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
