Woman Severely Wounded In Pittsburgh Stabbing Incident
An early morning stabbing in Pittsburgh Sunday sent a woman to the hospital.
PITTSBURGH, PA — A woman was severely wounded in an early morning stabbing Sunday in the city's Hill District.
Just after 5:30 a.m., police were called to the 2800 block of Centre Avenue in Middle Hill for reports of a stabbing.
An adult woman was found with a stab wound to her upper back/neck area. She was transported to an area hospital by Pittsburgh EMS in critical condition.

Statements to police indicate there was a verbal altercation stemming from a domestic dispute before the stabbing took place.
An adult woman was detained at the scene and was taken into custody for questioning. She has not been identified.
