World's Largest Rubber Duck Returning To Pittsburgh Area
After a dozen years' absence, the World's Largest Rubber Duck will be on display again in the Pittsburgh area.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Conceived by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman, the world's largest rubber duck debuted in Pittsburgh in September 2013 and drew more than a million visitors to Point State Park during its three-week stay here.
Now, the six-story fowl is on its way back to the Pittsburgh area.
The duck will appear at Idlewild & Soak Zone in Westmoreland County June 27-29, providing opportunities for people to snap selfies with the supersized bath toy and enjoy duck-themed activities and merchandise throughout the weekend.
