Infant Falls Out Of Window In Plum, Police Investigating

The child was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

PLUM, PA — A one-year-old child fell out of a window in Plum Tuesday evening and was seriously injured, authorities said, sparking a police investigation.

The incident occurred at around 6:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Winchester Drive.

It's not yet clear what led to the child falling. Allegheny County 911 was called and first responders treated the boy at the scene before taking himt o the hospital.

He was listed there in critical condition on Wednesday.

Police said their homicide unit is leading the investigation.
