Oakmont Man Arrested For Illegal ATV Activity In Pittsburgh

A task force has arrested four people in connection with illegal group rides of all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes on city streets.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Four arrests have been made and a vehicle has been confiscated as part of a task force investigation into people recklessly riding all-terrain vehicles and off-road dirt bikes on city streets.

Composed of the Pittsburgh Bureau of Police, the Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office, the Allegheny County Sheriff’s Office and the University of Pittsburgh Police, the task force was formed recently to investigate and prosecute illegal so-called “ride-outs."

Those initially arrested in the investigation:

  • Austin Ross, 22, of Oakmont, charged with recklessly endangering another person, riot, and disorderly conduct.
  • Zyshon Tot, 23, of McKees Rocks, charged with recklessly endangering another person, riot, and possessing instruments of crime.
  • Corey Doubt, 36, of Pittsburgh, charged with recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and riot.
  • Johnnie Burton, 37, of McKeesport, charged with endangering the welfare of children, riot, and criminal conspiracy.

Additional arrests are anticipated.
