Plum Man & Juvenile Charged In Carjacking Incident

Police quickly apprehended two suspects in the carjacking of a pizza delivery man's vehicle.

PLUM, PA — A Plum man and a juvenile companion are accused in the carjacking of a pizza delivery man's vehicle in Pittsburgh's Homewood neighborhood early Tuesday.

Wayne Griffin, 18, and the minor were charged with robbery of a motor vehicle, criminal conspiracy and simple assault, according to court documents. Griffin also was charged with receiving stolen property.

The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. in the 6900 block of Frankstown Avenue.

Griffin and the minor were arrested after police made a traffic stop on the stolen vehicle Tuesday afternoon.
