Popular Plum Restaurant On The Market

This popular eatery has been a staple for more than three decades.

PLUM, PA - John Anthony's, the Italian restaurant and banquet facility that's been a Plum staple since the mid-1980s, is on the market. The eatery is being marketed by the Sofranko Advisory Group, a Pittsburgh-based company specializing in restaurant transactions.

John Anthony's isn't listed by name on the Sofranko web site. But Sofranko is listing a Plum-based , family style restaurant that's been around for 35 years and can host banquet events; John Anthony's website says it was established in 1985 and can seat 120 people in its banquet hall.

The asking price for the two-acre property, 6,800-square foot building, liquor license and furniture, fixtures and equipment is $989,000. The asking price without the property is $489,000.
