School Board President Ready for Challenges

The Springfield School Board voted to re-elect both President Keith Black and Vice President Chris DeSantis to another term Thursday night as the board readies for 2013.

"I want to thank the board for re-electing me," Black said.  "We've done a lot of good things in the past year, and we hope to continue that success."

Black went on to say that the district faces some challenges in 2013, but that the board is up to the challenge.

"I think this board has demonstrated that it works well together, and I look forward to meeting those challenges together," Black said.
