When Is the Big Wawa Re-Opening on Balt Pike?
The store at the corner of Baltimore Pike and Bishop Ave. has been shut down all week for remodeling.
The big Wawa across from Home Depot on Baltimore Pike in Springfield is due to re-open Thursday morning at 8 a.m.
That comes as great news for locals who make it part of their morning and daily routines, not to mention the drivers who have been surprised to see the driveway entrances fenced off on both Baltimore Pike and Bishop Ave.
A call from Patch at 5 a.m. Thursday got the confirmation from a store associate who said Wawa store number 293 is on track to re-open at 8. A little late for many commuters who hit the road earlier, but in time for the lunch and evening commute crowd.
