Five Democrats Won Seats On T/E School Board: Unofficial Results
Ten candidates competed for five open seats on the Tredyffrin/Easttown School Board.

TREDYFFRIN/EASTTOWN, PA —The polls closed at 8 p.m. Tuesday for the general election. Five of the 10 candidates running for Tredyffrin Easttown school board will win seats.
The votes are being tallied at the Chester County Government Services Center, West Goshen. Patch will be updating the tallies.
At 9:15 p.m., the Democratic candidates were winning all five seats, according to the unofficial result reported on the Chester County Voter Services website.

The district covers 38 square miles in Tredyffrin and Easttown townships. It has more than 7,000 students in eight schools.
They are Conestoga High School, Tredyffrin/Eastown Middle School, Valley Forge Middle School, Valley Forge Elementary School, Hillside School, Beaumont Elementary School, Devon Elementary School, and Hillside Elementary School.

The administration and school board are in the process of considering the construction of a new elementary school in response to a projected increase in enrollment.

- Todd Kontorczyk: Democratic: 2,829
- Roberta Hotinski: Democratic:2,924
- Regina Mauro: Republican: 1,809
- Yan Lin: Republican: 1,738

- Rachel Weil: Democratic: 2,483
- Kenneth J. Hong: Democratic: 2,475
- Deanna Wang: Republican: 1,658
- Bogdan Rosca: Republican: 1,506
Region 3 (pick one)
- Sue Tiede, Democratic: 2,414
- Christina Laczko, Republican: 1,818
