TREDYFFRIN, PA—Glenhardie Road will remain closed indefinitely until late 2024 when the damaged stone arch bridge over Trout Creek is replaced.

The township has hired a consultant, Michael Baker International, who is working on the design and permitting for a new replacement bridge.

When the design is complete the project will go out to bid in the spring, with construction to start in the summer of 2024 and be completed before the end of the year.

As the bridge is currently damaged, it will remain closed to traffic, except for the residences located between Trout Creek and the PA Turnpike Bridge.

No trucks are allowed to cross the structure. Consultants have recommended a 3-ton weight limit on the existing structure until it is replaced with a new structure.
