Hundreds Remember Griffin Lang, a Conestoga High School Junior
Griffin's friends and family filled the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Berwyn for a memorial service.
BERWYN, PA —Several hundred friends and relatives attended services Tuesday afternoon to remember Griffin Lang, who died on Oct. 2 in a car accident.
Griffin, a junior at Conestoga High School and a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend passed away tragically at the age of 16.
His service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, Berwyn, was live streamed on YouTube and is available here.

The church was filled to capacity with family and friends of Lang, as the Rev. Sarah Weisiger led a service. A video of happy family photos of his childhood was shown.
Weisiger said there is no tidy bow to tie around what occurred to make it make sense.

“Griffin lived,” she said. “His life mattered. It’s not fair that it ended so soon. We loved him.”
Griffin was on the track team at Conestoga High School.
Weisiger described Griffin as fearless, curious, generous, compassionate, and with sparkle and charm.
Following the service, interment was at Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery. Griffin is survived by his mother, father, and older brother.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those who wish may make a donation to Jenkins Arboretum Gardens, 631 Berwyn Baptist Road, Devon, PA 19333.
