Repair Café In Berwyn Aims To Fix Items Instead Of Trashing Them

Trinity Presbyterian Church of Berwyn is hosting a repair café event Saturday morning where items on the fritz can get fixed.

BERWYN, PA — Residents in and around Berwyn can bring items that are broken to the Trinity Presbyterian Church of Berwyn this weekend in hopes of repairing them.

The church will host its fall Easttown Repair Cafe from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Attendees can bring items that are on the fritz to have them fixed, rather than throwing them out.

Those who come to the event will find tools and materials to help make any needed repairs on clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, and more.

The event will also include expert volunteers with repair skills in all kinds of fields.
