T&E Care Holiday Drive Now Underway

DEVON, PA — T&E Care, a nonprofit organization that provides financial and material assistance to individuals and families in need in the Tredyffrin and Easttown community, has launched its annual Holiday Drive for the 2025 season.

The annual drive offers community members and volunteers to come together and make the season brighter by fulfilling the holiday wish lists of local families.

"Many families are feeling particularly strained this year," Doreen McGillis, co-chair of the Holiday Drive since 2020, said. "We’re so grateful for the opportunity to match community donors with neighbors who could use a little help during the holidays. This year’s drive will support 100 families."

The drive collects donations of gifts, food, cleaning supplies, and gift cards. Community donors can sign up to participate now through Dec. 5, choosing to fulfill one wish list item, support an entire family, or anything in-between.

Volunteer opportunities will also be available to help organize donations at St. John's Church, 217 Berkley Road, in Devon, from Dec. 6 to Dec. 10.

Separate sign-up links for both gift donations and volunteer shifts are available on the T&E Care website now.

"This drive is truly a community effort," Jeanne Swope, who has co- chaired the event alongside McGillis for six years, said. "It is pure joy to see St. John’s Church full of gifts, food, and other household items that will help with the extra expenses that come with the holidays."
