LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — New rankings of school districts in Pennsylvania are out, and the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District is sitting pretty.

Education ranking service Niche published its list of the 2026 Best School Districts in America recently.

And among Pennsylvania districts, the Tredyffrin/Easttown School District was No. 3, but in the Philly suburbs specifically it was No. 2.

Nationally, the district was No. 37.

Overall, the district earned an "A+" grade from Niche.

The new rankings are distinct from recent analyses from Niche in that they evaluate the entire district, including grades K-12, and are not exclusively focused on high school.

Niche said its rankings, now in the 11th year, differ from others that rely almost exclusively on test scores and academic performance in that it also includes input from students, alumni and parents, as well as quantitative data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities.
