Barrington Beach Reopens to Swimmers
The RI Health Department gives the beach a clean bill of health after the most recent water sample is tested.
Barrington Beach has been reopened for swimmers.
The RI Department of Heath said results from the most recentĀ water sample gave the beach a clean bill of health, said Barrington Recreation Director Michele Geremia.
Water samples are taken daily to determine bacteria levels. The beach was shut down several days ago because of high levels of bacteria probably caused by runoff from the recent storm.
