Barrington Day Care Evacuated for Carbon Monoxide Concerns

BARRINGTON, RI—Children at the Early Learning Center on Sowams Road were evacuated Friday morning after a report of elevated carbon monoxide levels.

Barrington Police Chief John M. LaCross said that Barrington, Warren and East Providence firefighters responded to the scene and several children were tested at the scene. Others were brought to a nearby YMCA to get picked up.
