Eleanor M. McArthur, 98, Senior Center Member

Eleanor Mae (Walsh) McArthur, of Bernard Avenue, Barrington, passed away on Monday Sept. 9, 2013 at Orchard View Manor in East Providence surrounded by her loving daughter and sole caregiver, Jeanne Louise (Mark) Moura. She was 98.

She was the wife of the late James J. McArthur and sister of the late John W. Walsh, Walter J. Walsh and Frederick J. Walsh. 

Besides her daughter and family, with whom she resided for seven years in Barrington, she is survived by two grandsons; Mark J. Moura Jr. and Robert J. Moura. In addition she was the mother of James J. McArthur (Linda) and Fredrick F. McArthur and grandmother of Sean M. McArthur. She was the mother of the late Douglas C. McArthur. 

She was a communicant of St. Luke's Church in Barrington and a member of the Barrington Senior Center and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. 

Her funeral will be held on Thursday Sept. 12, 2013, from the W. Raymond Watson Funeral Home, 350 Willett Avenue, Riverside at 8:45 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Luke's Church, Washington Road, at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
