Roger A. Duprat, 88, Veteran, Insurance Exec

Roger A. Duprat, 88, of Argyle Avenue, Riverside, East Providence, formerly of Barrington, died peacefully on May 7, 2013. He was 88.

He was the husband of Rose (Teahan) Duprat for 64 years. Born in Boston, he grew up in Willamansett Mass., the only son of the late Athanase Duprat and Viola Cummings Duprat.

A Marine Corps veteran, he fought in the Pacific in World War II. He raised his three daughters in Barrington and had a long career in the insurance industry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 13, 2013 in St. Luke’s Church, Washington Road, Barrington at 11 am. Burial will be private in Forest Chapel Cemetery. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
