2 Charged In 3-Year-Old Boy's Drowning Death In Warwick
An investigation of the drowning led to Warwick police arresting Kaitlyn Nolan, 31, and David Holloway, 32 both of Warwick.

WARWICK, RI — A man and woman from Warwick were arrested in connection to a drowning death of a 3-year-old boy that happened over the summer, police said Friday.
On Aug. 28, first responders rushed to a home on Gorham Avenue in Warwick for a report of a toddler drowning. Police said emergency responders tried to resuscitate the boy and brought him to Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation of the incident led to Warwick police arresting Kaitlyn Nolan, 31, and David Holloway, 32. Nolan was charged with five counts of cruelty to or neglect of a child. Holloway was charged with two counts of child endangerment, five counts of cruelty to or neglect of a child, unnecessary cruelty to animals resulting in death, and unnecessary cruelty to animals.

Police did not release details about what led to the child's death. There was also no information available about Holloway's animal cruelty charges.
Nolan was presented before a bail commissioner Thursday and was released on $5,000 surety. Holloway was arraigned in Kent County District Court, and bail was set at $50,000 on personal recognizance.
