
CRANSTON, RI — A 38-year-old Cranston man was killed by a wrong-way driver on Interstate 195 in Swansea Thursday morning, Massachusetts State Police said. His name has not been released. He was driving west on the highway when he was hit head on. The other driver, who is from Bristol, lost control of her car. The victim's car burst into flames. He was trapped and died at the scene.
The fiery crash, which happened around 2 a.m, shut down the highway for hours.
