Cranston Parking Ban Begins Monday Morning

Closings and cancellations are starting to roll in in advance of a winter storm on Monday.

CRANSTON, RI—With more snow in the forecast beginning Monday morning, Cranston officials aren’t wasting any time and have issued a parking ban.

The ban goes into effect Monday morning at 7 a.m. and will remain in place until further notice.

Police are asking property owners to respect the parking ban to help plow crews keep the roads passable during the storm, which could bring anywhere from 6 to 12 inches of snow to the area, according to the National Weather Service.

Residents and business owners are also being reminded to keep sidewalks clear for pedestrian traffic.
