Cranston Police Investigate Home Invasion

The suspect was unmasked as he fled, and police do not believe the crime was random.

CRANSTON, RI—Police are investigating a home invasion at 212 Grand Ave., around 11:30 p.m. Thursday. The victims described a man and a woman. He wore a mask and carried a gun. The gun was an airsoft pistol.

According to Maj. Todd Patalano, one of the victims grabbed the pistol and tore off the man's mask. But the suspect got away. Police located a stolen motor vehicle at 203 Grand Ave. They believe that car is involved in the crime, which was probably not "random," police said.
