Cranston Police Swear In & Promote Officers, Confer Awards

CRANSTON, RI—The city's new police officers will be sworn in Thursday night in the auditorium at Cranston High School West, police said. At the same ceremony, which starts at 7 p.m., the department will also promote eight officers and give awards to police and civilians who have demonstrated bravery.

Here is the list of officers being promoted.

• New Captains: Russell Henry Jr and Sean Parker.
• New Lieutenants: Justin Dutra and Donald Robertson.
• New Sergeants: Anthony Sassone-McHugh, Ryan Shore, Jon Pariseault and Dennis Trinh.

The auditorium is at 80 Metropolitan Ave.
