Cranston Sex Offender Notification: Police
Cranston police issued a community notification for Christopher Palazzo, a "Level 3" offender convicted of molesting a girl.

CRANSTON, RI — Cranston police this week issued a community notification for a sex offender who recently registered his residence in the city. Christopher Palazzo, 37, is residing at the Harrington Hall Shelter on Howard Avenue, according to police. He is required to register as a sex offender after he was convicted of molesting a girl.
Palazzo is not wanted by police.
"This notification is not to increase fear in the community," Cranston police said in a statement. "It is the belief of law enforcement that an informed public is a safe public."

Level 3 sex offenders are deemed a "high risk" to reoffend, according to the Rhode Island Sex Offender Registry.
