CRANSTON, RI — The following people were arrested by Cranston police between April 4 and April 9.

Names of those arrested, their age, or the town they reside in were only omitted when not provided by police.

April 4

10:08 p.m. — Christopher Benoit, 35, of Pawtucket, was charged with possession of a schedule I-V drugs. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop at the intersection of Weston Avenue and Cranston Street.

April 5

7:15 p.m. — Joshua Saez, 20, of Woonsocket, was arrested on a warrant out of the East Providence Police Department. Cranston police said the arrest happened after a traffic stop on Park Avenue.

8:32 p.m. — Adriano Perez-Tiburico, 20, of Providence, was charged with shoplifting. Police said the incident happened at Lowe's on Garfield Avenue.

April 6

9:59 a.m. — Nathan Preziosi, 22, of Cranston, was charged with domestic failure to relinquish and domestic simple assault.

8:42 p.m. — Robert Machado, 76, of Cranston, was arrested on a warrant out of Rhode Island Superior Court.

April 8

11:11 a.m. — Rene Correa, 43, of Cranston, was arrested on two Superior Court bench warrants.

7:18 p.m. — Jesse Marinaro, 33, of Providence, was charged with reckless driving/eluding police, resisting legal or illegal arrest, obstructing an officer in the execution of duty, and possession of Vyvanse. Police said the arrest stemmed from a traffic stop.

7:53 p.m. — Frank Mello, 59, of Cranston, was charged with willful trespassing and obstructing an officer in the execution of duty. Mello was also arrested on a bench warrant out of Third District Court. Police said the arrest stemmed from a trespassing complaint at Dunkin' at 189 Sockanosset Cross Road.

8:39 p.m. — Jesse Lataille, 36, of Johnston, was charged with domestic cyberstalking/cyber harassment and violating a no-contact order.

April 9

11:18 a.m. — Maria Morales, 46, of Southbridge, Massachusetts, was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Police said the arrest stemmed from a call for service to the Bob's Store on Oaklawn Avenue.
