Flood Warning, High Winds: Rhode Island Weather Forecast

Rhode Island will see some heavy winds and potential flooding, according to a warning from the National Weather Service.

RHODE ISLAND — High temperatures in the 40's and flood warnings fill most of the early week forecast in Rhode Island, with drier conditions expected starting Thursday. High winds are also expected to die down by the end of the week.

Wind gusts will reach from anywhere between 20 mph and 31 mph as the week progresses, with highs in the 40's and lows in the low 30's.

The flood warning stretches as far as Maynard, Mass. It warns of potential fast waters and not to allow children to play near swollen waterways.
